Jamie Lee Foundation was fortunate to receive an invitation from a contractor in Thayne WY, offering to remodel the home of an elderly couple if the foundation would provide the funds for the materials. The couple was very active in their community, serving on the city counsel, initiating an annual 4thof July celebration with a breakfast and flag rising, parade, and fireworks, and helping those in need. During all this they suffered many health issues—including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, congestive heart failure, diabetes, and muscular dystrophy.
The work included restaining the wood siding of the home, upgrading all three bathrooms (including equipping them for handicap use), fixing the insulation, and making additional repairs as needed.

Thanks to a concerned businessman and those who contributed to the foundation to provide the funds, this couple was able to see some of the gratitude of the community they had so freely served.
